weeks 19 & 20

Hello Family & Friends!

We are halfway there! Last week (week 19) the baby was the size of a mango. This week (week 20) the baby is the size of a cantaloupe!
Also (from thebump.com):
Baby gulps down several ounces of amniotic fluid every day, both for nutrition and to practice swallowing and digesting. And, these days, those taste buds actually work! Studies show that after birth, babies respond best to tastes they've already had via amniotic fluid. Meaning, think about what you'd like your future child to eat as you prepare your own lunch.

On Friday, October 15th (yes this Friday) Rob & I are going for our sonogram to try and see if we can find out if the baby is a boy or a girl...I will keep you all posted!

I'm feeling really good and travel is going well. I'm at the halfway point!

I hope you are all well!
